The $180 AI meeting note taker that actually exposed my rambling habit
Bought one of those AI transcription gadgets last month for work calls, thinking it would save me time. Turns out it did the opposite at first, it showed me I talk for 4 minutes to make a 30 second point. My team never said anything but the summary said 'action item repeated 3 times'. Kinda embarrassing but now I cut my speaking time in half. The subscription is $20 a month though, so I'm wondering if there's a free tool that does this well? Has anyone else had their AI call summary call them out like this?

Glad it helped you cut down, but honestly, this feels like a lot of fuss over something you already knew deep down. Most people talk in circles sometimes, that's just how meetings go. Paying $20 a month to be told you repeat yourself sounds like a waste unless you're literally doing sales pitches for a living. Free voice recorders on your phone will give you the same awkward truth if you just listen back for five minutes. The real trick is just asking a coworker to give you a heads up next time you're dragging on, costs nothing and doesn't need a robot to figure it out.
