Went to the new automated grocery store downtown and their 'smart' checkout AI kept charging me for the same avocado three times.
I stood there for 15 minutes while the system argued with the attendant, insisting its camera vision was flawless, and it made me wonder if anyone else has seen AI that's too confident to admit a basic mistake.

Honestly, I used to trust these systems completely. But seeing one argue over an avocado like it's some kind of fact god is just wild.

Sounds like that AI has the same confidence as my GPS telling me to drive into a lake.

Had a GPS try to send me down a closed road last week. I just pulled over and checked the map myself. Sometimes you gotta ignore the machine and use your own eyes. The AI might sound sure, but it's just guessing with data. Always double check the facts before you follow any automated advice.
