Bought a $400 Silky saw, dropped it from 30 feet on day two
Went and got a Zubat after using a cheap pole saw for years. First big job with it, left it on a branch and watched it fall right onto a concrete patio. Handle cracked clean off. Anyone else have a tool they baby now after one stupid mistake?

Honestly, the Silky Zubat is a different saw than the regular Silky saws. The Zubat has a curved blade meant for pulling cuts, while most of their other ones are straight. Still sucks to drop any $400 tool though, that first ding is the worst.

Bought myself a nice little Silky saw after my old one got dull. Left it propped against a tree while I grabbed a drink. Wind came up, tree swayed, saw went down. Handle cracked in half. Now I keep that thing in a padded case and I won't even let my buddy borrow it. It's like when you break your phone screen and suddenly you're super careful with the next one.
