Dropped $400 on a Silky pole saw setup and it paid for itself on ONE job
So last month I finally caved and bought the Silky Hayauchi pole saw with the extension, ran me about $400 all in with the blade. My old Fiskars was wearing me out on a big oak takedown in a backyard off Riverside Drive, and honestly I was ready to just sub the whole thing out. First day using it I cleared about 15 limbs I would've had to climb for, saved me at LEAST 3 hours of up and down on the spikes. Two days later the homeowner tipped me $150 cash because I got the sight lines over their pool cleaned up so fast. The blade grabs a little if you rush the pull stroke, that's the only knock I've got. Curious if anyone's running the 21 foot version and whether the extra reach is worth the flex, because I'm already thinking about the next size up.
