Dropped $500 on a used bucket truck, best and worst purchase

Picked up a 2003 bucket truck at an auction in Ohio for $500. The lift arms work fine but the hydraulic fluid leaks every time I use it, costs me $30 a month to top off. Saved my back on three big pruning jobs last month, paid for itself already. Still, I wonder if I should just sell it and rent one when needed. Anyone else running a beat-up bucket that keeps them in the red or black?

You check that leak from the fitting or is it the hose itself? I ran a beat old one for years, if it's a $10 o-ring you're throwing money away for nothing. Keep it, you already know you'll use it more than you think.
