Duct tape on the wedge, who knew?
Had a big oak removal in Denver where the wedge kept slipping out mid-cut. Wrapped a strip of duct tape around it for grip and it held perfect through all 12 wedges. Anyone else got a weird field fix like this that actually stuck around?

I mean, duct tape fixing a wedge is fine and all, but is this really the kind of thing that changes your whole approach to tree work? Maybe it's just me, but a little tape sounds more like a quick patch than some groundbreaking hack.
