Had a property owner tell me I was killing his trees by pruning in August
I was out near Medford on a big oak job and this guy comes running out yelling that summer pruning spreads oak wilt. I tried to explain that's more of a Midwest thing but he showed me a YouTube video from some guy in Wisconsin and now I'm second guessing myself. Anyone else deal with clients who get their info from random internet people?

Yeah I had a guy in Portland show me a TikTok once about maple pruning and I just handed him a printout from our state extension office and asked him to compare sources. It usually calms them down when it's right there from the local experts instead of some random dude hours away.
