Roofer's throwaway comment about my climbing line stung

Last week a roofer on a job in Austin watched me set my flip line and said 'you guys spend more time tying knots than actually working.' Got me thinking about how much of our day is rigging prep versus cutting. Anyone else felt pressure to speed up the safety stuff just to look busy?
