Saw a stat that a mature oak puts out 200 gallons of water a day through its leaves, now I'm second guessing my summer watering schedule
Is that number real and should I be soaking my client's trees less in July, or is transpiration just moving water the roots already pulled up so it doesn't count against what I add?
