Spent 3 hours fighting a stump grinder that wouldn't start

Turned out the kill switch wire had rubbed bare against the frame and was grounding out. Took me way too long to think to check something that simple, has anyone else had a dumb electrical gremlin like that?

Had the same thing on a skid steer once, took me a whole day to find it.

The ground wire on mine was hidden behind a bracket, drove me nuts until I spotted it. Sometimes you gotta just trace every inch by hand to find those sneaky ones lol.

Used a shop light and just crawled along the whole harness inch by inch. Found it tucked behind a bolt after forty five minutes of feeling around blind.
