Why does nobody talk about trees getting hurt by gear at job sites?
I run a painting crew and we work near trees all the time. I used to assume they could handle a little equipment nearby. After seeing an arborist mark root zones with flags, I learned how easy it is to damage them. Now I have my guys set up farther out before we start. It keeps the trees healthy and avoids trouble.

It's crazy how much harm we do without even seeing it. Damage to roots might not show up for years, until the tree just falls over one day lol. Better to plan the whole site layout before parking anything.
