A whole week of just one cardinal pair, then three more showed up
Last Tuesday I counted 14 cardinals at my feeder in one go, which felt like a record for my yard in Ohio. I had been seeing the same pair for months and figured that was it, but a cold snap must have pushed more in from the woods. They hung around for like 5 days straight, and the males kept doing these little wing flicks at each other near the sunflower tray. Has anyone else had a sudden jump in numbers like that when the weather shifts?
