Appreciation post: the blue jay that made me stop hating my feeder setup

Last month I nearly gave up after a squirrel wrecked my tube feeder for the third time, but then a blue jay started landing on the deck rail and yelling at me until I put out peanuts. It took 2 weeks of that nonsense for me to realize the chaos was half the fun, so now I just throw peanuts on the ground and watch the show. Anyone else got a bird that basically trained them?
