Found a mockingbird that mimicked my phone's ringtone for 2 weeks straight

Last month I started hearing my work ringtone outside every morning around 6am from this one oak tree in my backyard. Turns out a young northern mockingbird picked it up after hearing me take calls on the porch for a few days. Anyone else had a bird copy a random noise from their house and drive them a little crazy?

Used to think people were hearing things, but a mockingbird mimicking my own ringtone right back at me changed my mind real quick.

Oh, I believe it. Mockingbirds are famous for picking up sounds and repeating them endlessly, especially young ones still learning their repertoire. Eric_knight7, I get why you'd think it's just a phone glitch, but mockingbirds will copy anything from car alarms to squeaky gates, so a ringtone is right in their wheelhouse. You've got a memorable alarm clock now, whether you wanted one or not.
