That time a blue jay taught me about peanut timing
Last month I noticed this blue jay kept showing up at my feeder right at 7 AM, like clockwork. I started putting out shelled peanuts at 6:45 and he'd swoop in almost exactly when I set them down. Three years ago I never paid attention to their habits, but now I've got a whole routine built around this one bird. Has anyone else had a specific bird that runs on a schedule like that?

Oh, I actually see it different @ray_campbell46 (no offense meant). It's not about going overboard for a bird, it's about noticing something small and building a little connection with the world around you, you know? Sometimes the best routines are the ones that form naturally (and honestly, a 7 AM blue jay is way more reliable than my coffee maker).
