Warning: Neighborhood association targeting BBQ smoke with new rules
I heard from a neighbor that our association is pushing new rules on BBQ smoke. They say it bothers people and might be bad for health. My friend got a warning last week for smoking a brisket in his yard. This could stop our yearly backyard BBQ contest if we don't act. We should talk to the board and show them our smoke control methods. Please spread the word and come to the next meeting to help out.

Bringing actual equipment to the meeting could really help. Show them the difference between a dirty smoker and a clean burning one. A pellet grill makes almost no smoke compared to an old charcoal barrel. Pointing out how good vents and dry wood cut down the haze would make it real for them.

Seriously, is this a council meeting or a cooking show?

Doubt it's such a big deal they need a live fire demo.
