Careful with that new meat grinder attachment from the hardware store

Stopped by a farm supply place outside Omaha last month and saw a guy selling a grinder plate that was way too thin for bone-in work, looked like it would warp after one pass. Anyone else run into cheap knockoff parts that bent or cracked on a busy Friday rush?
