I always sent butcher offal to landfill, but a biogas plant's offer changed my mind.

My butcher in Milwaukee tossed offal for years without a second thought. That biogas offer totally shifted how I see waste now.

Totally get that shift in thinking, it's wild how one thing can flip a switch. Makes you look at everything in your trash can differently, like what else could actually be useful. I bet a lot of businesses are sitting on a goldmine of waste they just pay to get rid of. That biogas idea is smart, turning a gross problem into something that actually helps.

Man, that's so true about how one idea can change everything. I mean, I used to throw away so much food scrap without thinking, until my friend showed me her worm bin. Now I'm trying to compost, but honestly, it's a mess and I'm pretty sure the worms are plotting against me. Like, last week I accidentally added citrus peels and apparently that's a big no-no, felt like I messed up the whole system.
