My old band saw blade gave me a fight for a solid week
I was breaking down a side of beef from a local farm, and the blade kept drifting on me, making every cut a mess. I checked the guides, changed the tension, even cleaned the whole machine, but nothing fixed it. Turns out, I had a tiny flat spot on one wheel I missed during my first check. After seven days of fighting with it, I finally saw it when the light hit just right. Anyone else have a simple problem hide from them for way too long?

That flat spot is a killer. I keep a flashlight in my toolbox just for that, shining it across the wheel rim. @jamie_carter87, your buddy with the screw should try the rubber band trick next time.
