The day three lamb carcasses taught me to check my saw chain at noon
Last Friday was brutal. I was breaking down three whole lambs for a restaurant order and my band saw blade was duller than I thought. It grabbed and twisted a hind leg so bad I had to stop and re-cut every single chop. In my experience, a dull blade costs you more time than a quick swap every few hours. I ended up an hour behind and my knuckles were raw from the push blocks. Has anyone else had a shift spiral because you skipped the routine blade check?
