Heads up: I hit 7 no-shows in 3 weeks at our Friday game night and realized I was the problem

We had 11 guys on the list for Friday board games at my place in Columbus, and 7 of them flaked in 3 weeks. I almost blamed the group until I looked at my own texts: every invite went out on Thursday night, no set end time. I switched to a Monday heads up with a hard 7pm start and a 10pm out, and suddenly 9 showed. Anyone else find that the flake rate says more about the invite than the people?
