Had to pick between a solo hike or a movie marathon after my group trip fell through
So my whole hiking crew bailed last Saturday because of the rain forecast. I was stuck deciding whether to go anyway by myself or just stay home and watch a bunch of movies. I picked the solo hike actually, drove out to Bull Creek Park around 8am. The trail was super muddy and I slipped twice near the creek crossing, but the mist made everything look weirdly cool. It was kind of nice not having to wait for anyone or keep up with a group pace. I ended up doing about 4 miles before the drizzle got heavier and headed back. Has anyone else gone on a hike alone after plans got scrapped, or do you usually just bail and stay home?
