Rain killed my Saturday plans so I sorted 400 nails by hand, and honestly it was the best afternoon I've had in months
Had a whole Saturday planned last weekend to hike the Rim Trail out near Sedona with two buddies, then the forecast flipped to rain at 6am and they both bailed by 7. So I sat in the garage with a coffee and finally dumped out the coffee can where I've been tossing loose nails and screws for about three years. Back in the day I would have just chucked the whole can, but this time I sorted every one into muffin tins by size, found 400 nails and about 60 screws that were perfectly fine, and now I have a little hardware store on my shelf. Went from dreading a rainy day to kinda hoping for another one. Am I the only one who secretly likes when plans fall through because you get to do weird little chores like this?
