My favorite ramen place cancelled my reservation and it was fine actually

Tbh I was pretty annoyed when I got the text that Ramen House on 3rd had to cancel my Friday night booking because their plumbing blew out. I was skeptical about going to that new spot down the street everyone was hyping up, figured it couldn't be as good. Honestly though, their tonkotsu broth was way richer and they didn't charge extra for the soft egg like my old place does. Has anyone else found a better replacement after getting cancelled on?

Haha, guess their plumbing failure was your lucky break. Nothing like overpriced eggs to send you packing.

Did your friend end up going somewhere else for breakfast after that? My buddy Jake had the same thing happen at a diner called The Griddle - their water main burst and he ended up at a place charging $18 for two eggs and toast. He said he ate it so fast out of spite he didn't even taste it. @annaw73, sometimes bad luck at least saves you from a bad meal, right?
