Picked the 6am train over driving to my buddy's wedding in Sacramento, 2 hours each way
My friend's wedding was up in Sacramento last month and I had two choices, drive the 2 hours each way or take the 6am Amtrak from my place near Fresno. I picked the train because I figured I could nap and not deal with parking, but then the wedding ran late and the last train back was at 9pm, so I bailed on the reception at 8:30 and missed the whole dance floor part. Sat in the quiet car eating a sad granola bar while everyone's group photos were blowing up my phone. The ride itself was fine but I keep going back and forth on whether the driving option would've been better since I could've stayed till midnight. Anyone else picked the chill travel option and regretted missing the good part of the night?
