Shoutout to the random thunderstorm that saved my Saturday night

I had plans to hit up this big concert at Red Rocks with my buddy Mark, but it got canceled like 2 hours before doors due to lightning in the area. On one hand, I was so bummed cause I paid $75 for the ticket and was ready to see the band. But on the other, we ended up grabbing cheap tacos at this hole-in-the-wall spot in Denver and honestly that night was way more chill and fun. Which side do you lean more towards mad about the cancel or glad you got something better out of it?

I read that getting shows canceled can actually be a blessing in disguise. "Ended up grabbing cheap tacos" sounds like the universe was looking out for you, honestly. Sometimes the unplanned nights hit way harder than the ones we stress over planning.

Nah josepha32, I gotta disagree - $75 is $75 and a planned night with a buddy is hard to replace, tacos or not. I'd be more annoyed than grateful personally.

Buddy of mine lost $60 on tickets AND parking for a last-minute rainout.
