Showerthought: Honestly, I used to get so mad when my friend group canceled our Saturday movie night, but now I actually look forward to the free time.
Tbh, after the last cancellation in April, I spent the whole evening reorganizing my bookshelf by color and it was way more relaxing than trying to agree on a film with six people, so has anyone else started to prefer their backup plan over the original?

Yeah, I've totally been there. My advice is to just lean into those backup plans now, honestly. I keep a short list of solo projects ready for when plans fall through, like deep cleaning one kitchen drawer or trying a new recipe. It turns a letdown into something you actually want to happen.

My backup list is just a note on my phone called "Plan B Stuff". It has things like organizing my old photos into albums or finally fixing that wobbly shelf. Makes the whole thing feel less like a failure and more like a free afternoon to get something done.
