That park trip I had planned got rained out, so I finally tried organizing my grooming cart
Last Saturday I was supposed to meet a friend for a long walk at a local nature preserve near me, but it poured all morning. Instead of just sitting around annoyed, I decided to tackle something I'd been putting off for months: reorganizing my mobile grooming cart. I had all these bottles of shampoo and conditioner just tossed in bins without any system. So I grabbed some cheap plastic trays from the dollar store and grouped everything by type, like hypoallergenic stuff on one shelf and flea treatments on another. It only took about 45 minutes, but now I can grab what I need without digging through five different things during a groom. Has anyone else found a use for canceled outdoor plans that turned into something productive?

Bet you found three bottles of half-used conditioner you forgot existed too, didn't you? That little organization win always feels better than a soggy walk anyway.

Ngl I once organized my bathroom drawer so well I couldn't find my toothbrush for a week.

honestly @shanelee you're making me feel called out because I literally have a drawer full of half used body washes that I keep telling myself I'll get back to someday. what worked for me was I started designating one spot in the cabinet for "current use" stuff and everything else either got a label or went into a bin under the sink. that way I can rotate stuff out when I'm in the mood for a different scent and I don't have to dig through 47 bottles to find my toothbrush either. it's not perfect but at least I'm not buying duplicates anymore which feels like a small win every time I open the drawer.
