Hit 300 sweeps last month without even trying

I've been sweeping chimneys part time for about two years now, mostly on weekends. Last month I hit my 300th job and it honestly surprised me because I never kept count. Has anyone else hit a random milestone that made you stop and think about how far you've come?

Didn't I read somewhere that 300 jobs is considered a solid milestone in this trade?

Heard that same number somewhere too, @val_williams. Read a forum post once where a guy said 300 jobs is when you really start knowing your craft. After 300 you've seen enough weird situations to handle almost anything. Less panicking when something goes sideways. More confidence in your price quotes too. But I think it depends on the work. My buddy does high end kitchens and says 100 of those teaches you more than 300 basic jobs. Still, 300 sounds like a good round number to aim for.
