Just realized a magnetic sweep saved me 3 hours on a steep roof job
Spent forever chasing soot that kept rolling down the shingles on a 12/12 pitch in Nashville last week. Anyone else use a magnetic pickup tool for cleanup on tricky roofs?

@susan649 tell me about it. After my first summer in HVAC I wrecked three coils before someone showed me the trick of using a flare nut wrench with a backup strap. Would have saved me a ton of money and a long Saturday fixing my own mistakes.
