Tried a different creosote remover on a stubborn flue in Denver
Had a job last week with heavy stage three buildup. Used that new foaming spray instead of my usual rods and brushes. The stuff actually worked better than I expected, got it all out in one pass. Anyone else switch to a chemical cleaner for tough jobs like that?

My old boss in Colorado Springs swore by that foamy stuff for bad chimneys.

It works great for creosote buildup, just make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Switched to that same foam last season for a bad buildup in Boulder. Let it sit for the full time, like @christopher943 said, and it turned everything to dust. The key is using a good brush after to get all the loose stuff out.
