Can we talk about how long it took me to get one dang pillowcase right?
I spent 3 hours last Saturday trying to sew a simple envelope pillowcase for my couch and ripped the seam out twice because I kept cutting the fabric wrong. My mom's old sewing machine at her place in Dayton kept jamming, and I burned my thumb on the iron around hour 2 just trying to press the flap flat. Turns out the trick was just making the back panel 4 inches longer than I thought. What's the dumbest little fix that took you way too long on a couch project?
