Hotel blanket woke me up to layers

Stayed at a Hampton in Tulsa last weekend and their blanket was this weird thin quilt thing. Under it was a scratchy sheet and a flat sheet, but no top layer. Felt like a whole nap setup problem. Anyone else strip hotel beds and rebuild the layers before they can settle in?

The Hampton Inn blanket conspiracy is real, and Tulsa is ground zero. I swear they buy those quilts in bulk from a place that also supplies paper towels, because that's what they feel like. Every time I find one, I do the full bed rebuild, tossing the scratchy sheet, flipping the quilt, and stacking the flat sheet like a burrito shield. It's basically a hotel workout before I can even think about sleep. Honestly, if they wanted us to sleep, they'd just give us a normal comforter and call it a day. Instead, we're out here doing architectural engineering with linens at 11 pm.
