Pro tip: wash your throw pillows before judging them

Kept waking up with a sore neck from my favorite couch pillow. For two years I figured it was just getting old, so I was about to drop $40 on a new one. Then I threw the cover in the wash and the stuffing fluffed back up like a new pillow. Lesson learned, the pillowcase was holding compressed dust and oils the whole time. Has anyone else fixed a pillow with just a wash cycle?

Washed mine and it came out looking like a sad, lumpy potato. Guess my neck pain was just karma for buying cheap pillows.
