Swapped my $60 down pillow for a $12 polyester one and now I sleep way better

I kept waking up with neck pain from that fluffy down pillow and after 3 nights with this cheapo one from Walmart I stopped waking up stiff, has anyone else just gone back to basic fill?

bro same here lol. i had this expensive ass down pillow that was supposed to be the best thing ever but my neck was wrecked every morning. switched to a basic polyfill one from target for like 8 bucks and my neck feels perfect now. i think those fluffy pillows are overrated for side sleepers especially. you're not alone on this one man.

7 years I slept on a hand me down feather pillow from my grandma and woke up fine every day, then I spent 150 bucks on a fancy memory foam one and suddenly my neck was screaming. @patricialee called it perfectly, expensive doesn't mean better for your body. I think the real trick is just finding what actually matches how you sleep, not what the ads tell you to buy.
