That fancy weighted blanket was a total $120 mistake
I bought one of those expensive 20-pound weighted blankets from a trendy online shop and it's just a heavy, sweaty mess. I can barely move under it and it traps heat like crazy, so I wake up drenched. Has anyone else regretted dropping serious cash on one of these things?

That "traps heat like crazy" part is exactly why I passed on them. I get hot enough under a regular blanket, so paying extra for a sauna experience just doesn't make sense to me.

Oh man, I feel this so hard lol. I bought one last winter thinking it would fix all my sleep problems, but I honestly ended up using it as a doorstop for a month before I gave it to my buddy who's always cold. I basically looked like a turtle trapped on its back trying to roll over with that thing on me. The worst part is I kept telling myself it was "an investment in my health" when really I was just roasting alive for $120. Guess my next genius idea will be buying a heated mattress pad in July or something lmao.

That "turtle trapped on its back" line had me laughing because I did the same thing, @miles_young59. I finally gave my heated blanket to my sister since she runs cold, but I learned to just layer an extra throw on top of my regular comforter instead. Works way better for me, and I can kick it off without feeling like I'm wrestling a sleeping bag.
