I changed my mind about using tech jargon in security ads

Most cybersecurity ads pack in complex terms to sound smart. I used to do this, but now I think it pushes people away. Last month, I rewrote a product page with simple words like 'lock' instead of 'encrypt'. The page got way more clicks and shares. People told me they actually understood what the tool does. This made me see that clear talk works better than fancy language. We should make security easy to get, not confusing.

Skip the jargon, it never helped anyone.

But why do people keep using it then? Clear language just works better.

Have you considered that jargon actually shows we know our stuff for SERIOUS buyers? Tech teams expect specific terms to judge if a product fits their complex systems. @ramirez.nora, while clear words help some, skipping key terms can make experts doubt the depth of a solution. For instance, "encrypt" signals a technical process that "lock" just doesn't fully cover.
