I was writing about our product's 'robust threat intelligence' for a year before a client asked me what that actually meant
I was on a call with a potential client in Austin, and they just stopped me and said, 'Amy, when you say threat intelligence, are you talking about a feed, a report, or a team of analysts?' I had to admit I was just using the buzzword. For 12 months, I'd been putting it in every blog post and datasheet without a clear example. Now I only use it if I can point to a specific thing, like 'our team reviews 500 new indicators daily.' Has anyone else had a client call them out on vague marketing speak?

Honestly, we've all done it.

But have we really all done it, Nora110? I can think of a few big things, like cheating on a test or stealing from work, that plenty of people have never done. Saying "we all" do something just lets people off the hook for their own bad choices.
