Just hit my 500th demo this quarter and it felt totally hollow

I've been tracking every sales demo I've given this year in cyber marketing, and I just passed 500 last week. But here's the thing: maybe 30 of those turned into actual qualified leads. Is anyone else burning out on these volume metrics while the real pipeline stays flat, or is it just me?

Used to think volume was just part of the game, but after reading this and seeing @the_christopher call out that conversion rate, it totally changed my mind. 500 demos for 30 real leads means you're basically just burning through your energy and time on people who were never gonna buy. Honestly, that's a brutal ratio even for cyber where the sales cycles are long, but 6% is way too low to be sustainable.
