Rant: A chat with my retired neighbor about his old firewall box...
He said his old IT team used to just put 'protect the network' on a brochure and that was enough. Makes our current content grind feel... different. Anyone else get that vibe from talking to folks who were in the field decades ago?

Ugh, tell me about it... I just keep a one-page cheat sheet of what each thing actually does for the business. Cuts through the noise.

Yeah that "protect the network" brochure line hits hard. Old heads had a simpler job to explain. Now you gotta make a whole movie about every feature just to get a meeting.
