Showerthought: Why do so many security ads sound like they're written for robots?
I started using stories from my daily life to explain phishing scams in my content. Does anyone else find that personal tales work better than tech jargon?

Isn't it weird how the best lessons often come from someone's embarrassing story? I mean, my neighbor once described almost giving her password to a fake tech support call, and that stuck with me way more than any official warning. It feels like we always trust real life mess-ups over perfect, robot-speak advice, whether it's about scams or even just following a recipe.

Ever notice how a YouTube tutorial where someone messes up the wiring is more helpful than the clean diagram from the manual? It's the same with car repairs or even putting together furniture. The official steps never show the part where you force the wrong piece in and have to start over, but that's the only part you actually need to see.

Totally! It's like @milabarnes said, we learn way more from everyday screw-ups than from perfect instructions, for pretty much everything.
