That webinar platform we ditched for $0 saved our demo pipeline

I was super skeptical when our VP suggested moving off of ON24 to some free Zoom setup for our quarterly threat briefings. We were paying like $1,200 a month and I figured the drop in quality would kill our lead gen. After three months of the switch, our actual demo requests went up 40% because the simpler format let prospects actually join without fighting a clunky interface. Has anyone else seen better conversions after ditching expensive marketing tools for something basic?

Did you catch that report from Gartner about how simple sign-up flows boost conversion by like 30%? @eva_thompson, your comment made me think of that because it's basically the same concept but for demo pipelines.
