Threw $400 at a content syndication service and got nothing but spam leads
Last quarter I signed up with a content syndication vendor that promised to get our threat report in front of 5,000 security pros. Paid $400 for a 30 day run. What I got was 47 leads that were all fake emails or people who clearly didn't speak English. The vendor just blamed it on 'bot traffic' and offered no refund. Has anyone actually had a good experience with these syndication companies or is it all just garbage?

Paid $400 for content syndication and got what you paid for, simple as that.

I read on a marketing sub that most of those syndication leads are garbage because the vendors just scrape LinkedIn and fill out fake forms. $400 sounds like a steal but you got exactly what that price gets you - bots and bad data.
