I actually like when people chew loudly - wait, hear me out

I saw a study from some food science blog last month that said loud chewers actually taste more flavors because the sound stimulates your brain differently. Maybe I'm weird but I kind of enjoy the crunch of chips or the smack of someone really enjoying a meal. Has anyone else ever noticed that quiet eaters seem less into their food or is it just me?

Oh man, I read something similar actually. There was this NPR segment I caught where they talked about how the sound of crunching can actually trick your brain into thinking food is fresher and tastier. So maybe loud chewers are just naturally amplifying their dining experience.
