Wasted $60 on a fancy travel mug that leaked all over my bag on the bus yesterday
Bought this supposedly spill-proof mug from a cute shop downtown, and now my laptop bag smells like stale coffee and I have to redo three client reports. Anyone else had a supposedly leakproof mug betray them at the worst time?

Happens all the time, nothing is actually 'spill proof' anymore lol

Used to think I was just unlucky or buying cheap stuff. Now I know better. Nothing holds up anymore.

Wait, three client reports? Like you had to actually redo the whole thing from scratch because of the coffee smell? Oh man, that's brutal. I would have been fuming, honestly. I've had mugs leak on me before but nothing that wrecked actual work like that. Your mileage may vary but for me, the only ones that have ever held up are the super basic stainless steel ones with the screw-on lids, not the cute push-button ones.
