Why does nobody talk about people who stand in grocery store aisles staring at their phone?
Was at the Kroger on Main Street last Thursday, this woman just parked her cart sideways in the middle of the cereal aisle, blocking both directions while she scrolled through Instagram. She didn't even look up when I said "excuse me" twice. Am I the jerk for being annoyed or is she just clueless?

oh man @felix_black, i feel your pain on this lol. what worked for me was just saying "hey, you dropped something" really loud and they always look up confused. then i just roll past while they're checking the floor.

Wait how many times has that actually worked for you before someone figured it out and got mad? I feel like one person would catch on eventually and then you'd have to deal with an awkward confrontation anyway lol. Is it worth the risk of getting called out just to save 30 seconds in an aisle?

Man that's super frustrating, you're definitely not the jerk here. I've had the same thing happen way too many times at my local Publix, people just zoning out with zero awareness of anyone else around them. It's like the store aisles become their personal living room or something. I don't get why common courtesy goes out the window the second someone walks through those automatic doors. Honestly you handled it better than I would have, I probably would have just stood there staring at her until she noticed. Some people really need to put the phone down and pay attention to their surroundings.
