My crucible started weeping metal onto the floor during a bronze pour in Toledo last month.
We caught it early, shut down the furnace, and had to chip the spill out after it cooled, so what's the best way to check for those tiny hairline cracks before a pour to avoid a bigger mess?

Honestly... how common is that really? Seen a lot of pours and a full-on leak seems pretty rare.
