PSA: I thought those new ceramic pouring cups were just overpriced hype, but after trying one from the supply truck last Tuesday, I'm a total convert because it cut my spruing time by almost 15 minutes on a 40-piece run.

Honestly, I was ready to laugh at the $85 price tag, but the foreman at the Trenton plant swore by them and now I get it, so has anyone else switched and noticed a real difference in their pour prep?

Oh man, same story here. I grabbed one on a whim last month and it's wild how much faster the metal flows. My cleanup is way easier now, no more crusty buildup on the lip. That price still stings, but saving all that time adds up.

Wait, you and @kellyjones both use the same cleaner for them?

Yeah, that "saving all that time adds up" part is interesting. I actually found the opposite, the extra cleanup step with that brand eats into my work time. I still get buildup if I don't scrub the nozzle by hand after every use, which kind of defeats the point for me.
