Rant: My friend pointed out a weird time skip in my memory that still bugs me

We were talking about a concert we both went to in Chicago last summer, and I swore the opening band played three songs. He looked at me and said, 'No, they only played two, you left to get a drink during the second one.' I checked my phone photos, and the time stamps show I took a picture of the first song, then a picture of the main band with a 45 minute gap. I have zero memory of getting that drink or the time passing. It's like my brain just edited out a chunk of the night. Has anyone else had a memory just delete a solid block of time like that?

Oh man, yes. I mean, I once lost like twenty minutes at a family dinner. I was there, then suddenly my uncle was telling a totally different story and my plate was empty. It's so weird.

But like, is it really that weird? I mean sometimes you just zone out when people talk. Maybe your brain just needed a break from the uncle's story.
