There was no one inside, and the lights were off. I checked the time, and it was only 8 PM, which is when they usually close. I stood there for a minute, and the sign didn't change back. I asked my friend about it today, and he said the store has been closed for renovations all week. Now I'm wondering if I imagined the whole thing or if something weird is going on lol.

Of course my favorite pen had to glitch into the freezer. Now I look there like it's normal.

Now I keep my keys in a locked cabinet, and they stay put. I changed my mind about blaming my memory or thinking reality was broken.
